Editorial Policy

PC Watch UK publishes independent articles about Rolex watches, model history, design details and replica watch trends. This Editorial Policy explains how we research, prepare and maintain the content published on the website.

Our Editorial Principles

Our goal is to publish useful and understandable information rather than content written purely to attract search traffic. Articles should provide readers with a clear reason to visit the page, whether that is learning about a particular Rolex reference, comparing designs or understanding how a collection has evolved.

Research and Sources

When an article discusses factual information such as reference numbers, case sizes, movements, release dates or official specifications, we aim to check that information against reliable sources before publication.

Depending on the subject, research may include official manufacturer information, established watch publications, historical references and other credible industry material.

Genuine Watches and Replica Watches

PC Watch UK covers both genuine Rolex watches and replica watch related subjects. We make reasonable efforts to distinguish between the two.

Official Rolex specifications, movements, materials, warranties and manufacturing claims should not be attributed to a replica watch unless there is a reliable basis for doing so.

Replica related articles primarily discuss visible design characteristics, market trends and differences in interpretation.

Editorial Independence

Editorial opinions are based on the author’s research and assessment of the subject. We do not intentionally present advertising claims as independent factual conclusions.

If commercial relationships, sponsorships or affiliate arrangements are introduced in the future, relevant disclosures should be provided where required.

Corrections

We aim to correct meaningful factual mistakes when they are identified. Minor grammar or formatting changes may be made without a formal correction notice.

If a correction materially changes the meaning of an article, we may update the article to reflect the more accurate information.

Updating Older Articles

The watch market changes regularly. New references appear, models are discontinued and information that was once current may become outdated.

For this reason, older articles may be revised when new information becomes available or when an existing page can be made substantially more useful.

Originality

PC Watch UK aims to publish content in its own editorial voice. Information obtained during research may be used to understand a subject, but articles should not simply reproduce substantial portions of third party material.

Author Responsibility

Articles published under an author name represent that writer’s editorial work and research. Our current principal contributor is Alexander Reed.
